Core Value
Composure and Balance
Reference Stage
The reference stage can be very important and should not be overlooked. You can create a template which contains specific questions targeting Murad Code Values and Competencies to gain more insights on your candidate in previous roles.
Some potential questions which can be included for this value:
“Can you describe a chaotic situation or very fluid set of circumstances in which the candidate remained calm and composed, and kept focus and structure to the work while still being attentive to the needs of others?”
“How comfortable is the candidate with facing trauma and conflict, and addressing sensitive, taboo topics? Can you provide an illustrative example?”
“In situations where someone shared sensitive or painful experiences, how did candidate ensure the other person remained in control of how and what they wanted to share?”
“How does the candidate respond when others express trauma, suffering, or highly emotional experiences?”
“Do you have examples of the candidate setting or maintaining healthy boundaries while still being supportive in challenging situations?”
“Are there any potential challenges you think the candidate might face in maintaining composure, balance and appropriate boundaries when working with victims of sexual violence?”
“Have you observed the candidate take steps to balance their commitment to others with their own need for rest and self-care?”
